It's a couple hours outside of Lijian and quite a rugged road. All that aside, better see it while it's still there, a dam is in the works to fill up the gorge. Lugu hu is worth seeing if not far overpriced, the best way there is by traveling from Lijiang via tiger leaping gorge.
