The Stone Forest is a strange and enchanting place that covers more than three hundred square kilometers. Its limestone rocks and pinnacles stand like petrified trees. This is not a fossilized forest but the result of water erosion over many thousands of years. Here you will see lofty cliffs and peaks that are majestic, steeply precipitous yet often charming like folds of silk.
